Beginning January 1, 2025, Dover School District will accept School Choice applications for the 2025-26 school year through May 1, 2025. Applications must be postmarked or hand delivered to the resident and nonresident districts no later than May 1 of the year in which the student seeks to begin the fall semester.  By July 1, the nonresident district superintendent notifies the parent/guardian and the resident district in writing as to whether the student’s application has been accepted or rejected.

Except as otherwise required or permitted by law, the responsibility for transportation of any nonresident student admitted to Dover School District is the student’s or guardian’s responsibility.

To apply:

1. Complete the Public School Choice Application.
2. Submit by mail or in person to the Dover School District Administration Office at 9371 Market St., Dover, AR 72837 by May 1.
3. By July 1, the Dover School District will contact you and the district where you live to indicate whether your application has been accepted.
